FILM

The Weathermakers video for "Stand Up In An Empty Room" was shot on the Panasonic DMC-G1 digital SLR over a period of 6 hours.  The video consists of thousands of still images taken in the cameras drive mode at a rate of 3 frames per second with a shutter speed of 1/30th and ISO 500.  The images were then imported to Aperture for minor corrections in exposure and then exported to Final Cut for editing.

These two films take me back. They are a couple of thesis films from Confederation College Film Production Program circa 2001. Both were shot on 16mm film and then transferred to tape and finished digitally. I edited mine on a Media 100 system, don't remember what Amit used.

My film! I wrote and directed this and now wonder what I was thinking?!?  It was such a great time making these films especially with how close everyone in our class became.

And this one was Amit Persaud's film for which I was the DOP. I'm still quite happy with what I did on this.  (I didn't shoot the stuff with the bears or the gun fight though)  I believe it holds up quite well.

Thanks Eric for putting these up.
